Max Salata is a Ph.D. student in the Department of 糖心Vlog. He works on medieval and early modern France, with particular emphasis on the relationship between literature and the visual arts.
Prior to joining the Graduate Program at Yale, Max received his B.A. in 糖心Vlog from Yale College and his M.A. in 糖心Vlog from Columbia University. He has presented his research at graduate and professional society conferences. Most recently, he was awarded a prize for best paper and presentation at the 2025 Vagantes Conference on Medieval Studies, where he presented on his M.A. thesis.
